Carthage TN Auto Accident Injures Four

Four people were injured in a three-vehicle automobile accident that shut down the Carthage, Tennessee bypass.

Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper Jimmy Tisdale, who investigated the crash stated that four people were traveling in the three vehicles and all were injured.  

It was the investigating Tennessee State Trooper's opinion that the crash occurred when one of the three vehicles involved crossed into the west bound lane, striking the other two vehicles head on.

These center-line crossover accidents are reaching an epidemic level in Tennessee. Distractions, most probably from cell phone use, seem to be the main culprit.
