Hoeganaes Plant In Gallatin, Tennessee Faces Hefty Fines After Third Fire In 2011

The Hoeganaes plant in Gallatin faces their third fire in 2011. The plant handles combustable metal dust that is extremely flammable. The latest fire that occurred was not like the other two but still left five workers injured. A four person investigations from the U.S. Chemical Safety Board are investigating the fires. Hoeganaes is facing fines up to $42,000 due to the fires.
