Pilot Dies in Georgia Small Plane Crash

A man was killed when his  Piper PA 32 went down outside Washington, Georgia.
The pilot, the only occupant of the plane, was en route from  Madison County Executive Airport in Huntsville, Alabama to Mount Pleasant Regional Airport in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
The crash occured shortly after the pilot reported engine trouble over the radio.
The GBI has investigated the scene and are now awaiting officials from the FAA and NTSB.
