Prominent California Horse Breeder Dies in Plane Crash

Prominent California horse breeder Frank Vessels was killed in a plane crash in Oregon.
Mr. Vessels was piloting a twin engine Aero Commander Model 500-B from Redding California to Montana when the aircraft broke up in mid air and was destroyed after crashing 80 miles South of Burns, Oregon.
One passenger flying with Mr. Vessels was also killed in the crash which is being investigated by the FAA and NTSB.
