Top lawyers appointed to massive Toyota lawsuit

A federal judge in Los Angeles has appointed four of the most experienced  product liability lawyers to aid consumers in their lawsuits against the auto manufacturer Toyota.
The layers will head committees focused on the two major categories of suits brought against Toyota.  Two lawyers will head the wrongfull death suits brought on by unintended acceleration of the vehicles.  The second committee will oversee the larger number of suits claiming a decrease in resale value of the cars after the acceleration malfuntion based recalls.
While the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has already fined Toyota $16.4 million, the company has yet to admit any responsibility to its customers.  53 deaths have been attributed to the acceleration problem by the NHTSA.
The lawyers appointed to the case are preparing for a long battle with a well funded foe.
