How soon after a work related injury in Tennesseemust I reportthe injury to my employer?

You should report all injuries immediately to your employer and or supervisor. Notification to your employer is required by law within 30 days of the date of injury, preferably in writing. If timely notice is not given, an employee may not be able to collect benefits under Tennessee workers compensations laws.
