A construction worker was seriously injured causing death by electrocution in Gladeville, Tennessee just east of Nashville.
On Monday a construction worker was killed by electrocution while working on a church expansion project in Wilson County Gladville, Tennessee which is just east of Nashville. With the Wilson Emergency Management Agency Station next door to the church and with immediate response the man's live was unable to be saved.
The Wilson Post reports that the two construction workers were in a bucket lift installing siding on the United Methodist Church in Gladeville Wilson County when the lift came into contact with a power line electrocuting both men. One worker was not seriously injured but the other construction worker died from the work related incident.
Middle Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation cut off the electricity to many businesses and homes in the area as a result of the incident.
It is reported by local law enforcement the injured construction worker was believed to be from Overton County.
