Don’t Let Yourself Be Bullied By Insurance Companies Or Taken Advantage Of By A Bad Lawyer In Your Time of Need
Why did I write this article? Because it makes me sick that insurance companies intentionally take advantage of good citizens of this country before they have a chance to consult with an attorney. For over 35 years, big insurance companies have been spreading their “Tort Reform” propaganda. IT’S ALL A LIE! Lawsuits are NOT out of hand. On the contrary, insurance companies abusing the general public ISout of hand. Hopefully by me writing this article, you will not be one of the hundreds of thousands of Americans mentioned above. This is part one of a series of articles I am writing to empower you with the information to keep this injustice from happening to you.
It also makes me sick that some lawyers see fit to embarrass an honorable profession by using cheesy, offensive, trashy, insulting, outrageous advertising. They use tag lines such as “Justice is your right and I demand it”…“Cash, Cash, Cash”…“Call me Now”…“One Call – That’s All.” These lawyers do a terrific injustice to my profession. Judges, Juries, and Insurance companies laugh at these attorneys. They give them (and their clients) no credibility at all. They use deceptive, misleading, and sometimes unethical practices and conduct their business through a high volume, never go to court, no regret, settle cheap strategy that is a huge disservice to their clients.
The worst travesty of this outrageous advertising is the poor results and low level of recovery often obtained by and associated with these lawyers. Ultimately, these lawyers are not taken serious in the civil justice system and it’s their clients that suffer in the end.
I am also tired of frivolous lawsuits. While not as widespread as big business and big insurance would want you to believe, some frivolous lawsuits do get filed, and any that are filed will be exploited by the insurance companies to make it seem to be a much worse problem and a much more often occurrence. An experienced and successful attorney will prevent your claim from being perceived or exploited as frivolous.
I believe you should have the information contained in this series of articles —without any pressure from any attorney (including me). Hiring an attorney to represent you is a very important task that should not be taken lightly.
